fonts-roboto-unhinted software package provides Googles signature family of fonts (unhinted), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-roboto-unhinted
fonts-roboto-unhinted is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-roboto-unhinted package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-roboto-unhinted *
You will get with fonts-roboto-unhinted package name, version, architecture and description in a table
